After covering Central New York for three local television affiliates for nearly a decade, Lila came to Quinnipiac University.
Lila advises the university’s six student media organizations: The Montage, Chronicle newspaper, Summit yearbook, Quinnipiac Bobcats Sports Network, 98.1-FM WQAQ and Q30-TV. She also teaches a three-credit media writing course.
Lila helps students reach their full potential across the university’s six colleges and schools.
In the past year, Lila has led semester-long leadership courses, guided students in the planning of major university events and chaperoned nearly nearly two-dozen students on an alternative break trip to Alabama where she helped build four houses for some of America’s most needy families.
She is currently working with the university, architects and consultants to construct a state-of-the-art media suite in the expanding Carl Hansen Student Center on the Mount Carmel Campus.
Lila earned a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Connecticut
